What Extra Lessons SA is
Extra Lessons SA is a directory. We list independent tutors and pass on enquiries. We do not employ tutors, supervise lessons, set rates, handle payments or take part in the agreement between a family and a tutor.
No verification
Tutors confirm their email address and applications are checked automatically for spam and content problems; not every profile is read by a person. We do not run criminal background checks, identity verification or qualification verification, and we do not endorse or guarantee any tutor's identity, qualifications, suitability, conduct or results. You are responsible for your own checks before lessons begin.
Using the site
Enquiries must be sent by a parent, guardian or adult learner. Do not use the site to send spam, scrape data, misrepresent yourself, or collect personal information about children beyond what is needed to arrange lessons.
Content and reports
Tutor profiles contain information supplied by the tutor. We may edit, unpublish or remove any profile at our discretion, including while we review a report.
Liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, Extra Lessons SA is not liable for the conduct of tutors or families, for the quality or outcome of lessons, or for any loss arising from arrangements made through the site.
